Description

Quick and easy microwave caramels made with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter in the microwave.
  2. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, and sweetened condensed milk to the melted butter.
  3. Mix well until combined.
  4. Microwave on high for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
  5. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  7. Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container.
