Napa cabbage rolls filled with a savory mixture of meat and rice.


Ingredients

  • 1 head Napa cabbage
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Bring a large pot of water to boil.
  3. Remove the core of the Napa cabbage and carefully peel off the leaves.
  4. Blanch the leaves in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until soft.
  5. In a bowl, combine ground pork, cooked rice, garlic, onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  6. Place a spoonful of the mixture onto each cabbage leaf and roll tightly.
  7. Place the rolls seam-side down in a baking dish.
  8. Pour tomato sauce over the rolls.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes.
  10. Serve hot.
