Description

One Pot Creamy Tomato Beef Pasta is a comforting and easy-to-make dish that combines pasta with a rich tomato sauce and savory ground beef.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 12 ounces pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)
  • 1 (14.5 oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot or deep skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes. Remove from the pot and set aside.
  2. Sauté the diced onion and minced garlic in the same pot for 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir and bring to a simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add the pasta to the pot, making sure it’s submerged in the sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  5. Return the browned beef to the pot and stir everything together. Optionally, sprinkle in Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil or parsley.
