Description

Ingredients

  • 1 whole turkey (1214 lbs)
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and celery until soft.
  3. Add bread crumbs, sage, salt, pepper, broth, and parsley to the skillet. Mix well.
  4. Stuff the turkey cavity with the bread mixture.
  5. Place the turkey on a roasting rack in a pan.
