- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread the dry cake mix evenly in the dish.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans over the cake mix.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
- Pour the mixture over the cake and pecans.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be made ahead of time.
