Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup polenta
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Bring water and salt to a boil in a pot.
  2. Slowly whisk in polenta, stirring constantly.
  3. Reduce heat and cook for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently.
  4. Once thickened, pour polenta into a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread evenly and let it cool for 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  7. Cut cooled polenta into fry shapes.
  8. Brush fries with olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and crispy.
