Description

Salmon Alfredo Pasta is a rich and creamy dish combining tender salmon, fettuccine pasta, and a buttery Alfredo sauce for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz. fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb. salmon fillet
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook fettuccine pasta until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, then cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until it flakes easily. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Add reserved pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
  4. Combine cooked pasta with Alfredo sauce in the skillet. Gently fold in flaked salmon. Serve warm, garnished with parsley or basil.

  • Use fresh salmon for the best flavor.
  • Feel free to swap fettuccine with spaghetti, penne, or gluten-free pasta.
  • For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
