Description

Delicious salted caramel butter bars with a rich flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup sea salt for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
  3. Add flour, vanilla, and salt, mixing until combined.
  4. Press the mixture into a greased baking pan.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven and drizzle caramel sauce on top.
  7. Sprinkle sea salt over the caramel.
  8. Bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  9. Let cool before cutting into bars.
