Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups seafood stock
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
  3. Stir in tomato paste and paprika. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Add white wine and reduce by half.
  5. Pour in seafood stock and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add shrimp and crab meat. Cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Stir in heavy cream and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Use fresh seafood for best flavor.
  • Adjust thickness by adding more stock or cream.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley.
