Description

A flavorful dish featuring tender Angus steak marinated in Shanghai-style sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Angus steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Place the Angus steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
  3. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
  6. Grill the steak for 6-8 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  7. Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  8. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
