A flavorful dish featuring tender Angus steak marinated in Shanghai-style sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 lb Angus steak
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
- Place the Angus steak in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it.
- Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
- Grill the steak for 6-8 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate overnight.
