Description

This dish features tender, juicy chicken breasts infused with sweet and spicy flavors, served on soft buns for a satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Buns for serving
  • Pickles for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the slow cooker by spraying the bottom with non-stick spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic salt, then add brown sugar and honey.
  3. Add vinegar and butter on top of the chicken.
  4. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours or HIGH for 2 hours, then shred the chicken and mix with the sauce.
  5. Serve on buns topped with pickles.
