Description

A flavorful bowl combining spicy tuna, creamy avocado, and rice.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup sushi rice
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1/2 lb sushi-grade tuna, diced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until water runs clear.
  2. Combine rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix tuna, mayonnaise, sriracha, and soy sauce.
  6. Fluff the rice and season with salt.
  7. Divide rice into bowls and top with spicy tuna and avocado.
  8. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
