Description

Spinach and cheese stuffed shells are a delicious side dish packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 20 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, mix spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the cheese and spinach mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with the remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.

Notes

  • Feel free to add herbs like basil or oregano for extra flavor.
  • Can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
  • Adjust cheese types to your preference.
