Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly, about 7 to 10 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the condensed cream of mushroom soup and mix until evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the beef mixture to a 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly to form the base layer.
- Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the beef mixture.
- Sprinkle the shredded Cheddar cheese evenly on top of the tater tots.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and everything is heated through.
- Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
