Description

- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- Canola oil or peanut oil for frying
- ⅓ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 carrot, julienned (for garnish)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat 1–2 inches of oil in a skillet over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
- In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- In another dish, whisk egg with milk and a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Dip each chicken piece into the flour, then egg mixture, then back into the flour.
- Fry chicken in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crispy.
- Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with a little salt.
- Toss fried chicken in sweet chili sauce in a large bowl.
- Garnish with julienned carrots, chopped cilantro, and sesame seeds.
- Serve warm for best flavor and texture.

- Ensure oil is at proper temperature to avoid soggy chicken.
- Do not overcrowd the pan when frying.
- Consider marinating chicken in sweet chili sauce for more flavor.
