- 4 wooden sticks or skewers

Instructions
- Gather your ingredients and tools.
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly, then insert wooden sticks into the tops.
- In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt. Stir until boiling, then let bubble for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Dip each apple into the caramel, allowing excess to drip off, and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Shape the caramel into tombstone forms and pipe ‘RIP’ with melted dark chocolate. Sprinkle crushed cookies around the base.
