Description
A classic British dish featuring mashed potatoes and sausages topped with rich onion gravy.
Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 sausages
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain and mash potatoes with milk and butter until smooth.
- In a pan, cook sausages until browned and cooked through.
- Remove sausages and add onions to the pan. Cook until soft and caramelized.
- Sprinkle flour over onions and stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually add beef broth, stirring until the sauce thickens.
- Season gravy with salt and pepper.
- Serve sausages over mashed potatoes and drizzle with onion gravy.

- Use your favorite type of sausage.
- Add herbs for extra flavor.
- For creamier mash, add more butter or cream.
