Description

A delicious recipe for stuffed shells with turkey and spinach.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 jar marinara sauce (24 oz)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground turkey over medium heat until browned.
  4. Add chopped spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted.
  5. In a bowl, mix turkey, spinach, ricotta, half of the mozzarella, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each pasta shell with the turkey mixture.
  7. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  8. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  9. Sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • Feel free to add herbs for extra flavor.
  • Use leftover turkey for a quicker option.
