- Fettuccine pasta: 12 oz (340 g)
- Tender steak: 1 lb (450 g)
- Velveeta cheese: 8 oz (225 g)
- Garlic: 4 cloves
- Heavy cream: 1 cup (240 ml)
- Butter: 4 tablespoons (56 g)
- Black pepper: To taste
- Fresh parsley: 1/4 cup, chopped
- Salt: To taste
- Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, season steak with salt and pepper, and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower heat to medium, add butter, and melt. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and add cubed Velveeta cheese, stirring until melted. Adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Add cooked fettuccine and seared steak to the skillet, toss to coat, and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve with chopped parsley on top.
Notes

- Let the steak rest after cooking for juiciness.
- Use fresh garlic for a more robust flavor.
- Consider adding vegetables like spinach or mushrooms for extra nutrition.
- Experiment with different sauces for variety.
