This is a flavorful Louisiana rub recipe inspired by Wingstop.
Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl.
- Mix well until fully blended.
- Rub the mixture onto chicken wings.
- Let the wings marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Cook wings as desired, preferably by baking or frying.
Notes
- Adjust cayenne pepper to control spice level.
- Can store rub in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
- Great for other meats too.
