Description
A savory and comforting Wonton Soup made with delicate dumplings.
Ingredients
- Wontons – 20 pieces
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
- Ginger – 1 inch, sliced
- Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions – 2, chopped
- Soy sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil – 1 teaspoon
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- In a pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
- Add ginger, garlic, and soy sauce.
- Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Remove ginger slices from the broth.
- Add wontons to the pot and cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in green onions and sesame oil.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Wontons can be made ahead and frozen.
- Use homemade or store-bought wontons.
- Adjust seasoning to your preference.
